International Food Land
About This Spot
Stepping into International Food Land, tucked away on a quiet stretch of S Cooper Street in Arlington, feels like opening a well-loved scrapbook of global flavors and culinary traditions. Here, the pace is unhurried, inviting you to take your time exploring shelves and counters filled with ingredients and treats that don’t often find their way to your everyday grocery run. The atmosphere blends the purposeful hum of a neighborhood market with the warmth of welcoming smiles, making the experience feel both purposeful and personal.
This is not just a grocery store, but a patchwork of moments where cultures intersect — from the fresh artisan breads and pastries that breathe life into the bakery corner, to the butcher’s counter where halal meat arrives with a promise of quality and respect for tradition. There’s an unassuming charm in how each element belongs here: a middle eastern restaurant tucked inside, offering bites of familiar comfort alongside culinary adventure. The air carries teasing hints of spices and freshly baked samosas, drawing you closer to the heart of the place.
What truly stands out is the human element woven through it all. The staff’s genuine patience and kindness create a space where questions are welcomed and discovery is encouraged, whether you’re searching for a particular spice or simply curious about the next delight to try. This thoughtful attention means even a first-time visitor feels well guided without ever feeling rushed.
International Food Land holds a quiet kind of magic — a place where everyday errands stretch into moments of curiosity and connection. It’s a spot where you can move at your own pace, let your senses wander, and find comfort in small familiarities alongside the excitement of something new.

Great small store. Clean, organized, and stocked with goodies! It was our first time here and we got some food to try. Prices are about the same as all other stores. Staff were beyond helpful, and patient with us, since we wanted to try everything! We got freshly baked samosas and pies. Chicken Samosa and beef samosa are so good, it's a must-try! Cheese pie also so good, you gotta try it. Beef pie was ok for me, my husband loved it! Also got some fresh mint since it was only 99cent for a huge bunch. We will definitely come here again!

I stopped by today to see if they had scotch bonnet peppers. I asked a very nice young guy that worked there about the peppers. He was so kind and helpful that although they didn't stock the scotch bonnet peppers, I was very appreciative of his help in finding another item I was looking for and for his suggestions of where I might find my peppers. I'll be back and I will certainly recommend this great little gem of a store to my friends!

This shop is excellent for international food especially halal one. I found all the items that I can not normally find in Walmart or target or any other shop. The staff are helpful here, prices are acceptable ( cash and credit ). The only disadvantage that it seems s0me how disorganized.

Very reasonable prices. Wide variety. Love their manakeesh zaatar bread.

Reasonably priced halal meat. Only issue is they never have ground chicken and won’t prepare it because “we have to clean the machine”. They carry fruits and veggies though sometimes not fresh. The young girls working cash are very friendly, everyone else is kind of moody.
